Our approach to pricing

We publish what each service costs, and we explain your funding and any contribution — so you can decide with the full picture. Our prices reflect a care team we employ directly, with our Registered Nurse leading clinical care.

  • One price per service. Each price covers the worker’s time, including travel and administration.
  • Funded through Support at Home. Most clients use their Support at Home budget. Any contribution is set by Services Australia.
  • Clear before we start. We confirm what a service costs, and whether it’s funded, before we provide it.

How Support at Home funding works

Most of our clients are funded through Support at Home, the government’s aged care program. In short:

  • You are assessed through My Aged Care and given a quarterly budget based on your needs.
  • Up to 10% of that budget is set aside for care management — the planning, coordination and review of your care. The remaining 90% pays for your services.
  • You may pay a contribution toward some services. Your contribution is set by Services Australia based on your income and assets, not by us.
  • Clinical care, such as nursing and allied health, has no contribution — it is fully funded.

We can help you understand your budget and what you would pay, and you can talk to us before your assessment or funding is finalised.

What you would actually pay

Your own cost depends on two things: your Support at Home budget, and the contribution Services Australia assesses for you. Clinical and personal care have no contribution*. For everyday living and independence services, most people pay a part of the cost based on their income and assets, and many pensioners pay little or nothing.

*From 1 October 2026, personal care is fully funded and you pay no contribution for it.

If paying your contribution would cause you hardship, you may be able to apply for help. We have a hardship policy and can support you to apply.

The quickest way to understand your situation is to talk to us, or to use the My Aged Care fee estimator. You don’t need an assessment or funding in place to ask.

Some services are quoted to suit your plan rather than charged at a set hourly rate:

  • Allied health and therapy — physiotherapy, occupational therapy, podiatry, speech pathology and others are available through our partners and quoted to suit your plan.
  • Assistive technology — the cost of the approved item, plus the government-set coordination fee (the lower of 10% of the item cost or $500).
  • Home modifications — the cost of the approved modification, plus the government-set coordination fee (the lower of 15% of the cost or $1,500).
  • Indirect transport (taxi or rideshare) — the actual cost of the trip, with no separate loading.

Starting before your funding, or paying privately

Most people use Support at Home funding, and we can help you get there. You don't have to wait for it, though — if you'd like to start before your funding is in place, or to arrange care privately, we can set that up. Talk to us about rates.

Frequently asked questions

How much does home care cost with Supported Home?
We publish a price for each service we deliver. Each price covers the worker’s time, including travel and administration. What you personally pay depends on your Support at Home budget and the contribution assessed for you by Services Australia.
Are there separate costs on top of the service price?
Each service price covers travel and administration. Assistive technology and home modifications carry a coordination fee set by the government, which all providers apply at the same capped rate. We confirm any such cost with you before going ahead.
How does care management work and what does it cost?
Care management is the work of planning, coordinating and reviewing your care. Under Support at Home, up to 10% of your quarterly budget is set aside for it, and the remaining 90% pays for your services. We bill our care management time against that allocation.
Do I pay anything for clinical care like nursing?
No. Clinical supports such as nursing and allied health have no participant contribution under Support at Home, regardless of your income or assets. The cost is fully covered by the government.
Can I arrange care privately, without Support at Home funding?
Yes. You don’t have to be funded to use our services. You can arrange care privately, or start before your funding is in place, and we will talk you through the rates.
How do I find out what I would pay?
Call us on (07) 3517 0808 and we will walk you through it. You can also use the My Aged Care fee estimator to understand your likely contribution. You do not need an assessment or funding in place to talk to us.
